"Buku Panduan Amalan & Doa" Launched

Hj.Zainal giving away the 'doa' guide to Hj.Samuil

Alhamdulillah, yesterday we've officially launched the 'doa' guide book or "buku panduan amalan dan doa". Hj.Zainal was there as the Guest of Honour, and the event was blessed with the presence of Dato Seri Setia Dr Ustaz Hj Awg Besar who gave an exciting talk on sustenance, and Imam Zulhilmi who led the recital of the Surah Al-Fatihah and read the prayers at the end of the event.

Objectives of publishing the guide are:
  • enhance our 'ibadah' to Allah
  • support His Majesty's call to make Brunei as a "Zikir Nation" that praises Allah at all times
  • enhance the company's Health, Safety and Environmental performance through "doa" "zikir".
Thanks to all for making the publishing of the guide and the launching ceremony a success.

I hope and urge that the guide will be used daily, and guide us further in the right path..InsyaAllah.

Here's how the guide looks like...

"Doa Menghindari Dari Angin Ahmar" can be found in the guide.

RTB Carnival

We were at the RTB Carnival last night. Ros is on duty over the 3 days of the carnival. The carnival was officially opened on Friday by YAM Pengiran Anak Khairul Khalil Pengiran Syed Hj Jaafari. At the ICC, there is also the Brunei International Trade & Consumer (BITC) and 4x4 Peace Expedition.

There's an opportunity for everyone to air their views about RTB, through a survey form...have your say!! Importantly for RTB, I feel, is that they have to improve on quality and maintain it. Oh yes, having a survey from customers is okay, but they need to show us what they've done about the comments, suggestions etc.

In the carnival too, there are plenty of games for everyone, and to top it up, UNI Arcade brought their games over!! We had fun...and won a few prizes too.

Ros is an excellent shot at the ducks!! Her netballing skills proves to be still in tact!!

A'ah tried out golfing...hmmm, could be the next Brunei pro??

Flooded Tutong

It is still flooded in Tutong, especially our "kampongs" Tanjong Maya and Lubok Pulau.

Today we went there, and had a great time splashing around, in the "big pool", and on the rugged Ford Ranger, went to see the floods in Tanjong Maya.
Sympathies for friends, relatives and those whose houses are flooded in...and our prayers are that the water will subside soon!! It's probably the worst flood since 1962..according to my dad.

The last photo is behind Mit Ihah's house!
